The Eat It Tweet It helps you track your food behavior — what you eat and why. University of Arizona researchers have used the app as part of a group learning exercise: users track their diet for 3 days, then look at trends on how mood, location, and convenience influence diet.

Use the app’s preset hash tags to describe your dietary choices and reasons for eating. Then look for patterns and make strategic changes to improve the quality of your diet!

Eat it Tweet It uses Twitter: you can use your own account, or create a new one specifically for your food tracking at Twitter.com. Once you have your Twitter account and password, go to the “Settings” of your iPhone or iPad and select “Twitter”, then enable your account for the Eat It Tweet It App.
